Road opening oils
Oils people use when every door seems closed: a job search, a new start, a move or a stuck situation.
When nothing moves, people ask for something to open the roads. The job interviews go nowhere. Papers sit on someone's desk for months. A business idea never gets off the ground. In the tradition, you clear the way first, and only then ask for the money, the love or the luck you want.
Open Road is the one most people start with. Unblocker and Uncrossing are for when something feels in the way, and Special Favor is for one specific request.
Two figures hold the keys to the road. Elegguá opens and closes the paths in the Afro-Cuban tradition and is greeted first, before anyone else. St. Peter holds the keys of heaven and is asked to open doors. People often start on a Monday, with a white or orange candle.
How people use them
- On a candle
- On a Monday, put a few drops on a white seven-day candle and set a key under the glass while it burns.
- On doors and windows
- Put a drop on the front door and on the doorstep, so the road starts open from your own door.
- With a written prayer or photo
- On a small piece of paper, write what you need opened: the job, the paperwork, the move. Put a drop on each corner and keep it under the candle.
- In the car
- Before a job interview or an important trip, put a drop on each tire.
