About this oil
Domination is the oil people use when they are tired of being pushed around: a supervisor who talks over them, a landlord who won't listen, a home where their word no longer counts. People use it to stand firm and have their say in their own affairs, at home, at work and across the table in a deal.
Its candle is purple, the color the tradition keeps for command, and its day is Thursday. Licorice root is its old companion, kept in a small cloth charm bag. It is used calmly, not in anger: say plainly what you need and keep to your own business. The oil is purple, with a warm ylang-ylang and ginger scent.
Ways to use
- On a candle
- On a Thursday, put a few drops on a purple seven-day candle. Under it, set a paper with your name and, below your name, what you need to be heard about.
- With a written prayer or photo
- Before a meeting with the boss or a hard talk at home, write in one or two lines what you mean to say. Put a drop of oil on the paper, fold it toward you and keep it with you.
- On doors and windows
- Put a drop on the frame of your own front door, or your office door, so your word is respected in your own place.
- On charm bags, stones and medals
- Keep a piece of licorice root in a small purple cloth bag, and add a drop of Domination to it every Thursday.
