About this oil
Commanding is the oil people use when they are in charge but not being heard: a new supervisor whose crew is testing them, a small business owner with staff, a parent whose grown children have stopped listening. People use it to ask for authority and respect, so their word carries in the room. Many buy it the week before a big meeting or a first day in charge.
People use it the night before the day that matters, and again that morning. Its old companions are a John the Conqueror root and a silver dime, kept together in a small purple bag. Its candle is purple, the color of command, with a yellow one beside it. The oil is purple, with a warm ylang and ginger scent close to kananga.
Ways to use
- On a candle
- The night before the meeting, put a few drops on a purple seven-day candle and let it burn through the next day. On a plain candle without glass, scratch your name into the wax with a nail first.
- With a written prayer or photo
- On a small piece of paper, write what you need to be heard on, then sign your full name under it as many times as fits. Put a drop on the paper, fold it toward you and set it under the candle.
- On charm bags, stones and medals
- Put a John the Conqueror root and a silver dime in a small purple cloth bag. Add a drop of Commanding the night before you take it to work.
- In your wallet or business
- Business owners put a drop on the frame of the office door and on the corners of the desk where they meet with staff.
