About this oil
Zodiac Capricorn is the oil for people born under Capricorn, from December 22 to January 19. They use it on their own altar and their own candles, and it is a common birthday gift, with a white candle, for someone born in those weeks. Capricorn starts on the winter solstice and runs through Christmas, New Year's and Three Kings Day. Many born then light their sign candle with the new year.
Capricorn is an earth sign, the sign of the sea-goat, ruled by Saturn. Its day is Saturday. In astrology it is the sign of work and career. Its colors are dark: brown, gray and deep green. Its plants are the pansy, ivy and the carnation. The oil is clear, with a frankincense and myrrh scent.
Ways to use
- On a candle
- Put a few drops on a white or brown seven-day candle on your birthday, or on a Saturday, the day of Saturn.
- With a written prayer or photo
- On New Year's, write your name, your birth date and one request for the year on a small paper. Put a drop on each corner, fold it toward you and keep it under the candle.
- In your wallet or business
- Capricorn is the sign of work and career. On the first workday of the year, put a drop in the corners of the cash drawer or the desk, and one on the corners of your wallet.
