About this oil
Zodiac Aries is the oil for people born under Aries, from March 21 to April 19. They use it on their own altar and their own candles, and it is a common birthday gift, with a red candle, for someone born in those weeks. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and starts on the first day of spring. Many light its candle on their birthday, to start the new year of their life with a prayer.
Aries is a fire sign, the sign of the ram, ruled by Mars. Its day is Tuesday, the day of Mars. Its color is red, and its flowers are honeysuckle and thistle. The oil is red, with a rose scent.
Ways to use
- On a candle
- On your birthday, or on any Tuesday, put a few drops on a red seven-day candle and say what you are asking for in the year ahead.
- With a written prayer or photo
- Write your full name and birth date on a small paper, with one request for the new year of your life. Put a drop on each corner, fold it toward you and keep it under the candle.
- With offerings
- For the birthday, set honeysuckle, tulips or other spring flowers on the altar, with a drop of oil on the rim of the vase.
- On charm bags, stones and medals
- Many people keep a medal of their sign on the altar or in a small cloth charm bag. Give it a drop of oil on the birthday, and another every Tuesday.
