About this oil
Better Business is the oil shop owners use when business has gone slow and they want it to pick up again. The Spanish name, Levanta Negocios, says it plainly: it lifts a business. People buy it after a bad season, when they move to a new location, when a new competitor opens down the street, or when they first open their doors. It is for any kind of business: a store, a restaurant, a taco truck, a stall at the swap meet.
Most owners use it on a Monday morning, before the first customer, with a gold or green candle by the register. Some keep it going every week, the way they sweep the front. The oil is gold.
Ways to use
- In your wallet or business
- On Monday morning, put a drop in each corner of the register drawer and one on the first bill you take in. Keep that bill in the drawer all week.
- In mop water and around the house
- Add a few drops to the mop water and mop from the front door in toward the counter, before you open.
- On doors and windows
- Put a drop on each side of the front door frame and one on the sign that says Open, so the business is marked from the street.
- On a candle
- Put a few drops on a gold seven-day candle and keep it in the back room or near the register. Light a new one each week until business picks up.
