About this oil
No One But Me is the oil people use for faithfulness, when they want their partner's heart and attention to stay with them. Some come in after a scare: a strange text message, late nights, an old flame back in town. Others use it to keep a good marriage close. It is about keeping love at home, not about punishing anyone.
People often use it on a Friday, the day the tradition keeps for love. Its candle is red. A lock and key are an old sign of faithfulness, so some people keep a small padlock on the altar, closed, with the key put away. The oil is red, with a sweet rose scent.
Ways to use
- On a candle
- On a Friday, put a few drops on a red candle and set a photo of the two of you under the glass.
- With a written prayer or photo
- Write both names on one piece of paper, one over the other. Put a drop on each corner, fold it toward you and keep it under the candle.
- On charm bags, stones and medals
- Put a drop on a small padlock, close it, and keep it on the altar or in a bedroom drawer with the key put away.
- On doors and windows
- Put a drop on the frame of the front door, so the way home stays marked.
