About this oil

Lovers is the oil people use for a love that is already there: two people who chose each other and want to stay close. Couples reach for it when work schedules keep them apart, after time spent living in different cities, or when the relationship has settled into routine. It is about time together and tenderness more than starting something new.

Lovers is used on Fridays, the day of love in the tradition, and many people light the candle in the evening, when the couple is home together. Its candle is red, with a pink one for gentleness. Two red roses in a vase next to the glass are a common touch. The oil is red, with a rose scent.

Ways to use

On a candle: On a Friday evening, put a few drops on a red seven-day candle and set the two roses beside it. Light it when you are both home.
With a written prayer or photo: Draw a heart on a small paper and write both names inside it. Put a drop on each corner, fold it toward you and keep it under the candle.
