About this oil
Beloved Woman, known in Spanish as Leche de la Mujer Amada, is a love oil about tenderness. Women use it to be cherished: for a husband who has grown distant to show her care again, or to be the woman a man wants to make a home with. Men use it too, when they hope to win a woman's heart or make up with a wife after hard times.
In the tradition, milk stands for sweetness, care and home, and this oil is for a gentle, faithful love, not a passing one. Its candles are pink and white, and Friday is its day. Many people set white roses beside the candle, with a little honey in a dish. The oil is pink.
Ways to use
- On a candle
- On a Friday, put a few drops on a pink or white seven-day candle and set white roses beside it.
- With a written prayer or photo
- In the middle of a piece of paper, write the name of the woman who should be loved, even if it is your own. Around it, write what you hope for: tenderness, respect, a home together. Put a drop on each corner, fold it toward you and set it under the candle.
- With offerings
- When you set out the white roses and the little dish of honey, put a drop on the flowers and on the rim of the dish.
