About this oil
Love Me is the oil people use when they want to be loved back: by a partner who has grown distant, by someone they are just getting to know, or by the person they already love who doesn't seem to notice. It is a tender oil. It is about affection and warmth, not about chasing anyone or holding on too tight.
People often use it on a Friday, the day the tradition keeps for love. Its candle is pink, or red when the feeling runs stronger. Many set a saucer of honey beside the candle so the words between the two of them stay sweet, with a rose next to it. The oil is pink, the color of a gentle, new love.
Ways to use
- On a candle
- On a Friday, put a few drops on a pink candle and set a small saucer of honey beside it.
- With a written prayer or photo
- Write the person's name, and under it the words "love me". Put a drop on each corner, fold it toward you and keep it under the candle.
- On charm bags, stones and medals
- Fill a small pink cloth charm bag with rose petals and a lodestone (a magnetic stone). Put a drop on it, and another every Friday.
