About this oil
Zodiac Aquarius is the oil for people born under Aquarius, from January 20 to February 18. They use it on their own altar and their own candles, and it is a common birthday gift, with a blue candle, for someone born in those weeks. The sign takes in February 2, Candlemas, when many families take the Christ Child from the Nativity to church to be blessed. In astrology Aquarius is the sign of friends and of hopes.
Aquarius is an air sign, the sign of the water bearer pouring water from a jar. It is ruled by Saturn, and its day is Saturday. Its colors are sky blue and turquoise, and its flowers are the orchid and the gladiolus. The oil is blue.
Ways to use
- On a candle
- Put a few drops on a blue seven-day candle on your birthday, or on a Saturday.
- With offerings
- For the water bearer, set a fresh glass of water on the altar on the birthday and put a drop of oil on the rim. Change the water every week.
- With a written prayer or photo
- Aquarius is the sign of hopes. Write one hope for the year, with your name and birth date. Put a drop on each corner, fold it toward you and keep it under the blue candle.
