About this oil
Happiness is the oil people use when the house has gone heavy and they want joy back in it. It is for after a hard year, a loss in the family or long months of worry, when nobody at home laughs much anymore. People also buy it for the good times: a birthday, a wedding, a new home, the family coming together for the holidays.
Happiness goes with a yellow candle, the color of sunlight, and Sunday is its day. Many people set sunflowers or other yellow flowers next to the candle, on the kitchen table or the altar. The oil is gold.
Ways to use
- In mop water and around the house
- On a Sunday morning, add a few drops to the mop water and mop from the front door toward the back of the house, to bring the joy in.
- On a candle
- Put a few drops on a yellow seven-day candle and set it where the family gathers, like the kitchen table or the living room.
- With offerings
- Put a drop on the sunflowers or yellow flowers by the candle. Change them when they wilt, so the flowers stay fresh.
- On doors and windows
- Before a party or a family visit, put a drop on each side of the front door to welcome good company.
