About this oil
Peace is the oil people reach for after the shouting. Two brothers who stopped speaking, a mother and daughter at odds, neighbors fighting over a fence, a job where nobody gets along. People use it to cool tempers and make room to talk again. It is for the person who wants to make peace and doesn't know how to begin.
Peace goes with a blue candle, sometimes with a white one beside it. Many light it on a Monday so the new week starts calm. Its old sign is the dove with the olive branch, the one from Noah's ark. Many keep a glass of fresh water by the candle and change it each morning. The oil is blue, the color of calm water and a clear sky.
Ways to use
- On a candle
- Put a few drops on a blue seven-day candle. Write the names of the people who are fighting on a paper, side by side and facing each other, and set it under the candle.
- In mop water and around the house
- After a fight at home, add a few drops to the mop water. Mop from the back of the house toward the front door, so the anger goes out with the water.
- On doors and windows
- At a shop or an office where nobody gets along, put a drop on the door frame in the morning, before the others arrive.
