About this oil
Zodiac Gemini is the oil for people born under Gemini, from May 21 to June 20. They use it on their own altar and their own candles, and it is a common birthday gift, with a yellow candle, for someone born in those weeks. Gemini is the sign of the twins, Castor and Pollux, two brothers from an old Greek story. The two brightest stars of the sign carry their names.
Gemini is an air sign, ruled by Mercury, the messenger. Its day is Wednesday, the day of Mercury. In astrology it is the sign of messages, letters and short trips. Its color is yellow, and its flowers are lavender and lilac. The oil is gold.
Ways to use
- On a candle
- Put a few drops on a yellow seven-day candle on your birthday, or on a Wednesday, the day of Mercury.
- With a written prayer or photo
- Mercury carries messages, so write your request as a short letter, signed with your name and birth date. Put a drop on each corner, fold it toward you and keep it under the candle.
- With offerings
- Set lavender or lilac on the altar for the birthday, with a drop of oil on the rim of the vase.
- In the car
- Gemini is the sign of short trips. Before one, put a drop on each tire, or on a small charm you keep in the glove box.
