About this oil
Never Go Broke is the oil people use to keep money from slipping away. It is for the week before payday, the family stretching one income, the shop that sells well but never seems to keep anything. People reach for it when the money comes in fine and then disappears into bills, repairs and surprises.
Where Money Drawing is about money coming in, Never Go Broke is about holding on to it. Many people use it on the first of the month, the day the rent and the bills go out. The traditional token is one bill or coin that is never spent, so the wallet is never empty. Its candle is green. The oil is green, with a fresh clover scent.
Ways to use
- In your wallet or business
- Put a drop on one bill and keep it folded in the back of your wallet, never spent. If you ever have to use it, replace it the next payday and put a fresh drop on the new one.
- On charm bags, stones and medals
- Keep a jar in the kitchen for coins. Put a drop of oil on the first coin, and add a coin every payday, with a drop on it.
- On a candle
- On the first of the month, put a few drops on a green seven-day candle and set this month's bills under the glass while it burns.
