About this oil
Come Back to Me is for after a breakup, when someone has packed their things and gone, or stopped answering. People use it to ask for a second chance: for the anger to cool, for the other person to remember the good times and come home. It is also used for a son or daughter who has stopped calling, or an old friend lost after a fight.
Its candle is pink, the color of tenderness and forgiveness, and many people light a white one beside it for peace. It is often started on a Friday, the day for love. People keep something the person left behind near the candle: a photograph, a letter, a shirt. The oil is pink.
Ways to use
- On a candle
- On a Friday, put a few drops on a pink seven-day candle and set the photograph under the glass. Say the person's name, and say plainly that the door is open.
- With a written prayer or photo
- Write the person's name and the words "come home" on a piece of paper. Put a drop on each corner, fold it toward you, and keep it under the candle until it burns out.
- On doors and windows
- Each evening while the candle burns, put a drop on the front doorstep, so the way back to the house stays open.
