About this oil
Cast Off Evil is for the bad that clings. Nobody has to send it. It gets picked up in a hospital waiting room, at a wake, at a job full of envy, around people always in trouble. Some feel a spirit without light followed them home. People use this oil to cast it off and leave it outside.
In Spanish it is Contra Fluido. In Espiritismo, a fluido is the current a person or place gives off, and a bad one can linger. A white candle goes with it, a glass of water beside it, and running water to carry off what is cast away. Many light the candle on a Monday, the day kept for the souls. The oil is clear, with a frankincense and myrrh scent.
Ways to use
- On a candle
- On a Monday, put a few drops on a white seven-day candle and set a glass of water beside it. When the candle burns out, pour the water down the drain or into the street, away from your door.
- On doors and windows
- Put a drop on the frame of every door you come home through, the garage and the back gate too. What you picked up outside stays outside.
- In the car
- When the heaviness comes from work or the hospital, it rides home in the car too. Put a drop on each of the four tires before you head home.
- With a written prayer or photo
- Write plainly what you want to cast off and put a drop on the paper. Fold it away from you, burn it when the candle is done, and let running water carry the ashes off.
