About this oil
7x7 Against All is the oil people use when they want to be covered from every side: envy, the evil eye, gossip, bad intentions, things sent their way. Seven times seven stands for complete protection, with nothing left open. People reach for it when they don't know where the trouble is coming from, only that it keeps coming.
Its candle is white, or the seven-color candle, one color for every side. Seven is the number that matters: seven drops on the candle, a candle that burns seven days, a cross of oil on the door seven days in a row. The oil is clear, with a frankincense and myrrh scent, the smell of church incense.
Ways to use
- On a candle
- Put seven drops on top of a white seven-day candle, one at a time. With each drop, name one thing you want kept away.
- On doors and windows
- For seven days in a row, trace a small cross of oil on the front door frame, and on the back door too.
- In the car
- Put a drop on each tire and on the medal or charm you keep in the glove box.
- On charm bags, stones and medals
- Put a drop on an azabache (a black jet charm) or a saint medal and keep it in your wallet. Add another drop every seven days.
