About this oil
Just Judge is named for the Justo Juez, Christ as the fair judge, from the old Catholic prayer of the same name. People reach for it when they need to be judged fairly: a hearing, a custody date, a dispute at work, or when someone is speaking against them. Many families keep the printed Prayer to the Just Judge folded in a wallet or in the glove box.
The prayer asks God to keep enemies from doing harm and to let the truth come out. Devotees pray it each night in the days before a court date, and many pray it before a long drive. Traditional candles are white or brown. The oil is purple, with a warm ylang and ginger scent.
Ways to use
- On a candle
- Starting a week before the hearing, put a few drops on a white seven-day candle and pray the Prayer to the Just Judge each night while it burns.
- With a written prayer or photo
- Put a drop on each corner of the printed prayer, fold it and keep it in your wallet, or in the folder with your court papers.
- On the altar and saint statues
- Put a drop on the base of the crucifix or on the corners of a holy card of the Just Judge on your home altar. Keep the oil off the face.
- In the car
- For someone who drives for work, put a drop on the folded prayer kept in the glove box, and renew it at the start of each month.
