About this oil
Gambler's Luck is for people who play regularly: the Friday card game, bingo at the parish hall, the same numbers at the same store every week, a night at the casino. People pick it up before they sit down to play. They come back for it the way they come back to their game. It is used to ask for luck to stay with them at the table.
Its traditional charms are a pair of dice, a lucky coin and a whole nutmeg. People keep them together in a small green cloth bag that goes along to the game. Its candle is green, with a gold one beside it for a big drawing. The oil is green, with a fresh clover scent.
Ways to use
- On charm bags, stones and medals
- Put a pair of dice, a lucky coin and a whole nutmeg in a small green cloth bag. On each game day, add a few drops to the bag and take it with you.
- With a written prayer or photo
- Write the numbers you play on a slip of brown paper and put a drop on it. Keep it under the candle until the drawing.
- On a candle
- The morning of the game, put a few drops on a green seven-day candle. Set your bingo card, your ticket or your lucky coin under the glass.
