About this oil
Tranquil is for a house that has gotten loud: arguments at the dinner table, a teenager slamming doors, relatives under one roof for too long. People also use it for a tense office, or in the weeks after a loss, when everyone is on edge. It is used to calm the room and cool tempers, so people can talk to each other again.
Tranquil is an evening oil, used once the house has gone quiet. Many people start it on a Monday, the day of the moon. Its candle is blue, with a white one beside it. A glass of clear water often sits next to the candle on the altar. The oil is blue, the color of still water.
Ways to use
- In mop water and around the house
- After an argument, add a few drops to the mop water. Mop from the back of the house to the front door, then throw the water outside so the argument goes with it.
- On a candle
- In the evening, put a few drops on a blue seven-day candle and set a glass of water beside it. Change the water every morning until the candle burns out.
- With a written prayer or photo
- Write the names of everyone in the house on one piece of paper, with the people who are fighting side by side. Put a drop on it and keep it under the blue candle.
