About this oil
Prosperity is the oil people use for the whole house doing well, not for one lucky break: steady work, the bills paid, food on the table, a little put away for later. People often use it on a Thursday, the day the tradition gives to growth and plenty. Its candle is green or gold. Many keep a small jar of rice, beans or wheat on the altar as a sign of a full pantry, and refill it when it runs low. The oil is green, with a fresh clover scent.
Ways to use
- On a candle
- On a Thursday, put a few drops on a green candle and set a small dish of rice or wheat next to it.
- In your wallet or business
- Put a drop in the corners of wherever the household money is kept: the wallet, the cash box, the drawer where the bills go.
