About this oil
Lottery Luck is the oil for the numbers. People pick it up when they buy a ticket for the state lottery, a church raffle or the office pool, and want to ask for luck until the drawing. Many play numbers that mean something: a child's birthday, an old address, a number that came in a dream. The oil goes with those numbers and that ticket.
Playing dream numbers is an old habit. Players once kept dream books that gave a number for every dream, and many people still write a dream down before it fades. Lottery Luck goes with a green candle, the color of luck, and a gold one for the prize. Many light the candle on a Thursday. The oil is green, with a fresh clover scent.
Ways to use
- With a written prayer or photo
- Write the numbers you play on a piece of brown paper, with the date of the drawing. Put a drop on each corner, fold it toward you and keep it under the candle until the numbers come out.
- On a candle
- The day you buy the ticket, put a few drops on a green seven-day candle so it burns through the week to the drawing. Set the ticket beside the glass, not under it, so it stays clean and easy to read.
- In your wallet or business
- Keep your tickets together in one envelope or one pocket of your wallet. Put a drop on the corners of the envelope or the wallet, never on the ticket itself.
