About this oil
King Solomon is named for the king of Israel who, in the Bible, asked God for wisdom instead of riches. People reach for this oil when a decision falls on them: the head of a family settling a dispute, a manager who has to lead, someone choosing between two jobs or signing a lease. It is also for people who want to be listened to when they speak.
Many people read the Psalms of his father David while the candle burns. Its candle is purple, the color of kings, with a gold one added for authority. The six-pointed star called the Seal of Solomon is a traditional sign of his wisdom. The oil is purple, with a warm ylang and ginger scent.
Ways to use
- On a candle
- Before a big decision, put a few drops on a purple seven-day candle. Read a Psalm or a chapter of Proverbs each night it burns.
- With a written prayer or photo
- Write the question you have to decide on a small piece of paper. Put a drop on each corner, fold it and keep it under the candle until you have your answer.
- In your wallet or business
- For an owner or a manager, put a drop on the corners of the desk where the decisions are made, on Monday before the week starts.
- On charm bags, stones and medals
- Put a drop on a Seal of Solomon medal and keep it in your wallet or in the desk drawer. Add a drop every week.
