About this oil
Has No Hanna is an old Southern oil for luck with money. People reach for it after a long dry spell: no raise, no luck at the games, one expense after another. It is used to turn a run of bad luck around and get money moving again. Shop owners keep it by the register, and people who play bingo or the lottery keep it at home.
Nobody agrees anymore where the name came from, and botanicas call it by its English name, in Spanish too. People often use it on a Thursday or a Sunday, with a green candle and a coin under the glass. A four-leaf clover goes well beside it. The oil is green, with a fresh clover scent.
Ways to use
- In your wallet or business
- Put a drop on a dollar bill, fold it toward you and keep it in your wallet, apart from the money you spend.
- On a candle
- On a Thursday or a Sunday, put a few drops on a green candle and set a coin under the glass.
- On charm bags, stones and medals
- Put a drop on a lucky coin or a four-leaf clover charm, and carry it with you on the day you play.
