About this oil
Cleo May is an old Southern love oil, and a woman's oil. Women use it when they want to be noticed and admired: to catch a man's eye, to keep a husband's attention, to be the one he comes home to. For generations it has also been a favorite of women who work nights with the public, like waitresses, bartenders and dancers, who earn their living on tips.
Its candle is pink, for a sweet and inviting love, or red when the feeling runs stronger. Friday is its day, and many women light the candle on Friday evening and let it burn through the weekend. The oil is pink.
Ways to use
- On a candle
- On a Friday, put a few drops on a pink seven-day candle and set a paper with your own name under the glass.
- In your wallet or business
- If you work for tips, put a drop on the corners of the tip jar and on the first bill of the night. Keep that bill folded in your wallet.
- On charm bags, stones and medals
- Keep a few dried rose petals in a small pink cloth bag in your purse, and add a drop every Friday.
